Making an Appointment
Once you have made the commitment to seek counseling services and you are ready to make an appointment, please contact me at 970-439-1604 for a free consultation. If we decide to proceed with treatment, I will provide you with necessary paperwork via my easy-to-use online portal and documentation platform which is HIPAA compliant and secure. Filling forms out in advance will allow you to thoroughly think through the intake questions and get the most out of your initial session. *Please keep in mind that emailing via my Gmail account is not secure, so you might consider reserving sensitive details for the online platform, telephone, or in person communication.
Initial Session
In our first session, we will review forms and discuss your intake questionnaire together. We will also discuss goals for treatment. The initial session for an individual client is approximately 1 hour in order to allow for enough time for reviewing the intake information etc., so please plan accordingly. Subsequent sessions will be 50-55 minutes. If we need more time, this can be discussed in session and a prorated fee will be applied beyond the 1 hour allocation.
For couples, my clinical recommendation is to allot 75 minutes for sessions to be most productive for both partners.
Payment of Fees
I charge $170+ for individual/$200+ for couples for a 50 min session and prorate as needed for longer sessions, i.e. 75-90 minute sessions which are recommended for couples therapy or intensive brainspotting. I will be happy to provide you with an invoice which you can send to your insurance company for request of reimbursement. Please call for a free consultation at which time we will discuss my fees in more detail.
Payment is required at the time of service. As I am a small private practice clinician, I currently only accept cash, checks, or PayPal/Venmo for payment of fees.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please contact me via phone at 970-439-1604 a minimum of 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time. A full fee will be charged for appointments missed or cancelled with less than a 48-hour notice. Your attention and understanding in this regard is greatly appreciated.
