Despite the anxiety and overwhelm in your life, here you are.
Anxiety is painful. Physically and emotionally. We tuck it away in “drawers” of our lives and hide it in “closets” of our smiles, but left untreated, it causes cracks that seem so deep, they seem unable to be healed.
At least that’s what our minds can trick us into thinking when the pain is so deep, or when the relationship is so harmed, or when we think we just can’t ever get back to our old selves ever again.
I promise you, you can find joy and whimsy in life again. An empathetic licensed therapist can help.
And, that’s me. Hi. I’m Bozhena Evans and welcome to BE Therapy anxiety counseling in Denver, Colorado. While I offer a wide variety more than anxiety solutions, I find it coming up over and over for my clients here, whether they are facing depression, relationship issues, struggles with parenting, and for teen counseling and adolescent therapy as well – it’s common.
I am a Denver mindfulness-based counselor and therapist. I’m also a wife, a mother, and a regular human who (like you) has been through a lot in their lives.
I am dedicated to helping others transform their lives. I specialize in anxiety treatments, couples therapy and adolescent counseling using a variety of methods, these include Mindfulness Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Brainspotting (BSP), Internal Family Systems (IFS) and deeper Attachment Theory-base.
I have an eclectic professional background and a passion for counseling individuals of all backgrounds and contexts.
I have worked in a variety of therapeutic settings both with adults and children with a variety of mental health issues, including:
- & More
I even helped bring suicide prevention education to students, staff, parents, and community members of the biggest school district in San Diego county, along with psycho-education, related to suicide and mental illness.
More recently in my career, I have worked with chronically ill clients of all ages. And finally, I have fulfilled my ambitions to work one-on-one with clients on their personal growth in my own private practice.
I, myself, have had several transformative experiences of my own in life, including having immigrated to the U.S. as a child from the former Soviet Union, as well as having graduated as a Master in Social Work in 2007 from Tulane University in New Orleans in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, before establishing my Denver counseling and therapy practice here in Colorado.
I know how it can feel to have your world turned upside down suddenly, and what it’s like to feel afraid and worried for the future. Combining my education and experiences, BE Therapy was created to offer you the best therapy for anxiety here in Denver to help you create a life you love to live.
Hey Bozhena, you may ask, what’s up with the dandelions?
Dandelions are a beautiful symbol of transformation: a fully bloomed flower turns into a seed head, which spurs new growth. I enjoy working with individuals who are ready to take steps toward self-transformation and well being, and who ultimately wish to improve the quality of their lives.
